New MMO: Karos Online
MMORPG had become social game play within today's society. Imagine the old fashion Ragnarok Online since 2001, with the development of 3D technologies, Blizzard came up with World of Warcraft which hit the global market in 2007. Impressively, there are much more other online games with better graphics. For a Pay to Play online game such as Aion online which was release recently in May, 2009, it potrays a more realistic effect of the environment which only players with high graphic card will able to experience it. Now, NHN had came up with the new release of Karos online which provide Free to Play service together with better graphic effect compared to other 3D MMORPG.
On 21st August, NHN Europe realease their Close Beta Test server for Karos Online. With this opportunity, I had myself register as one of their Close Beta Tester. With the provided game client, the size of it is only 700MB and will additionally patch another 100MB + of it's game files.
The game starts with a login page as similar to other MMORPGs. After successfully login to the game server, the game leads you to Character Creation screen. There are three classes for players to choose at the moment which are Blader, Bowmistress and Rogue. As seen in the screen, there are other classes which are not able to be selected yet. This shows Karos Online have their future development of this game.
After creating your character, you are able to access the game server. There'll be Character Selection for players to select their playable characters before entering the game. As shown from the screen, players are only able to create maximum of four chracters.
I was amazed by the environment graphic effect after I entered into the game world. With high graphic settings, players are able to view the details of the game. But, even with low graphic setting, players are still able to feel the breezy effect in the game world.
By default, the game graphic settings are set to high. Players with low graphic card will be able to change the setting to medium or low which ever fits the players' desire. But for some technical problem caused by my wireless router, I was not able to play this game at ease since it kept disconnecting. So far, I'm only able to reveal how the game environment is. Quest and other function will be revealed after I'm back to my work port at Damansara.
After exiting the game for the first time, a small browser will pop up which contains survey question of the game. Seems that the developer wants to hear opinions from players to improve the gameplay environment that suits the majority.

According to the report from resident House 51, there was a Musang outbreak that had terrorized the surface of the ceiling in the nearby neighborhood. Every night, neighbors will hear loud running noise on top of their ceiling and was terrified of it while wondering what was lurking within the darkness of the roof. The photo above shows the terrifying damage caused by the furious Musang. However, the Musang is still on the run and a group of assault team was dispatched to capture it.

Assignment Accomplish: One Step Closer
After submitting my assignment, I was troubled up with some issues with my campus. Well, I might post up an article about why campus such like SEGi is a FAILURE and reasons why must students avoid signing up their course at SEGi University College. Just a general image to potray about how SEGi is.
SEGi is just bad in its management and students will always have trouble with the bursary and accomodation department.
SEGi is also known to be money sucking education center. They just don't care how well you do inyour education. They just care for what's in your pocket or wallet.
SEGi's infrastructures are also an eye sore as today, they had problem with broken pipe at the 1st floor left wig toilet. It smells bad as well. Besides that, the on-campus hostel have pipe leakage problem. Even the library do have water leakage during rainy days.
With this three major point of view of SEGi, whatwould you think of this campus? What kind of impression would you give upon this kind of educational center? Well, you won't know till you experience being a student here.
Here, I would some day write an article of the true image of SEGi. I want to let the public know how private campus with bad management looks like.

Kuala Lumpur: Anti ISA Riot Outbreak
Riot police in Kuala Lumpur have fired tear gas into a crowd of 5,000, who were protesting Malaysian security law.
The protesters want to over turn the country’s decades-old laws, which allow the government to imprison people without a trial.
Despite police warnings of a crackdown if they demonstrated, a crowd of mostly ethnic Malays marched from the national mosque to the king’s palace today chanting “God is Greatest” and “Down with the government”.
Water canons and tear gas were fired at the protesters, led by opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, and about 180 people were arrested.
They were hoping to submit a petition to the king, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, calling for him denounce the Internal Security Act (ISA).
The ISA permits detention without trial on national security grounds, but many in the country fear it is being used by the government to silence political dissent.
Last year the ISA used was against a pro-opposition blogger, a journalist, and members of Hindraf, an outlawed Hindu rights group.
A joint statement released on Friday by the Malaysian rights group Suaram, the World Organisation Against Torture and the International Federation for Human Rights said: “The secrecy and unscrupulous practice that surrounds the use of the law exhibits the true colour of the ISA.”
Prime Minister Najib Razak said he had already agreed to review the controversial law and released thirteen Malays being detained under ISA powers on taking office in April.
However today’s protests will place further pressure on Razak, whose government is facing questions over the mysterious death of an opposition politician’s aide last month.
Teoh Beng Hock plunged from the 14th floor of the anti-corruption commission offices after going in for questioning.

Experiment 1: Connection Speed Lost Theory
I used SpeedTest.net to check my connection speed and it reached 1.64Mbps. Fair enough.
However, with my BitComet on with my laptop, my speed reduced to 0.27Mbps. Since my BitComet download is at average of 0.035Mbps or 35Kbps, where is the remaining speed went to?
Hypothesis: Does this mean that there's a theory of speed lost which is more or less similar to Thermodynamics's, heat lost theory?
Ideal Connection:
============================
Original Speed = 2.04Mb/s
Obtained Speed = 1.64Mb/s
Speed Loss / mi = 0.01Mb/s
============================
Compound Connection:
============================
Download Speed = 0.04Mb/s
Actual Balance Speed = 1.60Mb/s
Measured Bal. Speed = 0.27Mb/s
Speed Loss /mi = 0.03Mb/s
============================
Conclusion:
After conducting the above experiment, it shows that the speed lost occurs for about 0.01Mb/s for each mile with pure connection. When BitComet download is initiated, the result shows an increase of speed lost by 3x.
Thermodynamics states that, the increase of work will also increase the lost of energy and heat. Therefore, it is proven that, a download process is known to be work done and speed is known to be the energy and heat. In addition, due to the speed lost within 50 miles from the Streamyx server to this computer, a total of 1.33Mb/s of speed loss occured.
However, there are several ways to improve the connection speed. Users can stay near to Streamyx server in order to shorten the mileage of internet cable to reduce the total speed loss. Another way is to increase the amount of streamyx servers across housing areas. It would be the best if ideal materials which won't cause speed loss would be used for internet cable since it will provide 100% efficient internet connection speed.
