Back trip Home !

Just bought my ticket back to my home town.

After exploring a new experience path way to the bus terminal, I find it quite convenient to reach there.

So far, this blog had not made much progression since my new place had not yet installed super high speed internet line. So, the progression will be delayed for the mean time ...

Till then, I'll be back!

Michael Jackson Death Upon Cardiac Arrest , R.I.P.

It was reported at The Washington Post that The 80's Pop Star, Michael Jackson, had step into the door of Heaven at his age of 50. It also stated that the caused of his death was due to cardiac arrest but was later claim to be unknown by his brother - The Washington Post

I was once a fan of Michael Jackson when I was little. I could still remember that his music video was still popular back then in early 1990's. Thriller, Black or White and Smooth Criminal was the most played songs during the time. Smooth Criminal music video also inspired me for his "anti-gravity" style.

Those were the glory moments of his, though there were other much reports of his dark rumors. For me, he is still a human being which we are at most fragile. We do make mistakes and he does too. Let us , for this moment , forget of all those of what he had done , and have him rest in peace , and may the King of Pop Star be remained in our memories ... forever.

"God forgives all sins except for one."

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen

Okay... at least this time I got the title correct then.

After watching this two and half hour movie at the cinema, this movie is really awesome and the wait for the ticket booking was worth it though we got a sit which is not so comfortable to watch. Still, the story is worth the money. BTW, I'm not giving out free spoilers here so don't hope for it. Want to know the story, go to your nearest cinema or buy DVD. No money? Try to wait for the download version, and yeah... don't support pirated DVDs out there! :D

Transformers equation: EMF = 4.44 f N Ba

Well, I took a shot of expresso before entering the 'lecture hall' ... Transformers 101 !

513 Jinx: My old house locked me out !

Apperently, I was out this morning to buy some super-duper toilet bowl cleaner to clean my new staying place. When I came back to my old staying place, I cleaned up my stuffs which needed to be shifted 3 floors down to my new place.

So, here starts the miserable 513 house hex which casted upon me before I headed out. Usually, I had a habit of checking my house key in my pocket, but this time not... There, I went off with my old house door close and locked. Without noticing until I reached my new staying place, "Scheiße!!!" as I spoke out.

Running back to my old house, I knew that I'm being locked out from the house.

I called it 513 Jinx because, I never had this mistake done since I shift in to this house. I always make sure that my key is in my pocket before I lock the door. But, not this time. Well, I know its my one step of my mistake, but sometimes you want to blame on something else for fun :D

This lesson had taught me to plan before hand of anything bad happens in the future.

Also, I would like to thank my 3 years plus most trusted, kindest, helpful friend, Dollah-san who's going to Perth very soon and me keeping him busy helping me around .. lol.

Anyway, I've done my cleaning on the awfully disgusting eye-sore toilet bowl at my new staying place with a Super-Duper cleaner (Caution: It's not for kids to play with). Now, I just need to wait till night falls and enjoy the long waited Transformer: Revenge of the Sith.
Ooopss.. i mean Fallen... hehe :) )

Reconstruction: 3rd Column Added

It's been awhile that I attempt to produce different ideas for this blog.

With many hours experimenting with the HTML codes, I finally managed to add a 3rd column.

There are much more to learn and more to be improve still...

BTW, the previous 2 features which were the search engine and the navigation bar had been took down.

I don't think it'll be a necessary for the search engine though.

As for the navigation bar, I might put it up back if there are any new ideas which suits it.

A Visit to Miri: The Last of H3666

Here, I'm back from my journey to Miri, Sarawak. I used to study there at Curtin and live at a place called H3666 which had been officially dissolved today. About the H3666 faction, please view at dear Ham's blog, the 1st generation of H3666 member [!].

Before heading to Miri, I just noticed that there's this famous H1N1 influenza phenomenon happening around the globe at which Malaysia had recently reported that 25 victims were infected by this disease. However, everything goes well when I reached KLIA. During the check-in, I was required to sign a health declaration formed issued by the government for safety purpose.

During the flight, I had my breakfast as shown below. the blue cover container contains fried rice with Satay-chicken. TBH, the food provided doesn't impressed my appetite.

When I reached Miri, the departure hall was fully secured by the Miri airport guards. Wearing mask and protective coat, they sprayed some kind of prevention liquid onto my hand incase of any unwanted flu infection. There I waited for my fellow friends, May and Dollah to fetch me. On the way to lunch, I managed to take a picture of Bintang Plaza which had its building extended and under construction.

After our lunch, I had a campus tour by May at my old Curtin campus. Not much changes were made, except for new buildings were completed after I left the campus.

Campus Tour: Uh... wad this place again?

Campus Tour: Zen Garden

Campus Tour: Curtin Sports Centre

Dollah and May, instead of doing work, they play facebook street racing. Oh.. I forgot that they having sem break too...

Under the hot day of Miri weather, we ended up having cold drinks at the campus cafeteria. New stalls were opened which I did not had a chance to try since that I was filled up with lunch.

On that night, we had our re-union dinner at Merry-Brown in Bintang Plaza's new wing and watched Terminator Salvation at the cinema in Bintang Plaza which provided us with sucky service. We had a blackout the the best part. Damit!

My pasta for dinner at Deli France

The rest are the moments of my tour with my fellow Curtin friends which was the best week ever. Since that H3666 is dissolved. Every single bits of memory were cherished by each of us. The glory moments of H3666 will always remain in our photos we captured all this while and I never regret to be part of them. The master room-maties of H3666 giving their last cross-hand fare-well bites on their burger at Deli France, also at Bintang... >. <

Hallod and Ham, The First Gen of H3666

On the last day Dollah (going to Curtin Perth for further studies) and I leaving Miri, we had our last breakfast of the day at MIA's (Miri International Airport) Starbucks and also having our last chat with other friends that are going back to KL with the same flight of ours, MH2951.

This is it,

yet not the end.

Though its the end of H3666,

we still live our life through.

Every day,

every moment,

memories were made.

Therefore,

All hail 3666!

3666!

3666!

Teng! Teng! Teng!

Atlantica Online [Preview]

For today's game of the day, here comes another MMOTBG, Atlantica online and yeah TBG - Turn Based Game. Finally, I manage to lay my hands on to this game ever since I had problem downloading the game client previously. BTW, there's problem taking screenshots of this game so, this post won't be able to include my screenshot.

Atlantica is a marvelous game compared to of all MMO which I played. Certain players might dislike its turn base strategy gameplay, but one advantage of this game is that, having to be able to control all 9 characters (max) ables you to solo along the game.

Another interesting part of this game is, many players especialy those high levels will send you items and gold when you first started out. So, I asked 1 of them, why so generous? He / she replied that, they gain experience point by doing so.

For the first time playing this game, it gives a feeling that you are in a parallel world of the current one since it has most similar world map as ours. Yeah, KL is included (written in my Facebook Notes [!])

FYI, I'm playing in in Thebes server and might spot me with character name GinShouki, as usual my MMO main character name. Also, this game is totally addictive! I nearly spent my whole day and night yesterday following up the quest. At least, I managed to pull off sometime middle of the night doing my work out. :D

Anyway, this is my rating for this game:
1. Graphic: [4 stars]
---compared to other MMOs I've played I like this one
2. Performance: [3 stars]
---Too bad its not very smooth at maximum graphic setting. Maybe there are loads of players
3. Environment: [4 stars]
---Very cool! But why start out in Korean province?
4. Gameplay: [4 stars]
---I'm not too sure what to comment since it is my 1st time playing MMOTBG. But much better playing classical Gundam turn base strategy game.
5. Quest: [5stars]
---Questing is easy after you're used to the game. If you can't find you way to the destination, just use auto run. Auto run function will just leads you to the point. No more long term keyboard pressing ^ ^

My first impression, I thought that playing turn base MMO will be sucky... but resulted different as what I expect. This game.... it's DANGEROUS!

(Oh yeah! they should fix the screenshot thingy... or izzit only my screenshot doesn't work well?)

Holy Beast Online [Preview]

Introducing to you game of the day, Holy Beast Online (HBO). This game was introduced by my friend on the day we went to Lowyat. Today, I took my time to see how interesting this game is.

Holy Beast Online introduces six types of clan which are: (Taurus, Bird, Dragon, Tiger, Monkey, and Dog). Each clan has their respective classes and different skill attributes which suits different type of game play [!].

The game starts off with a character as a small beast striving through the world of beast fantasy. Players are able to do quest and grind to level up. At most level, there are quests available for players to accomplish. From what I have played, reaching lvl 3, there'll be a quest which allows the character be able to change form to human or beast.

Starting of the game.

Level 1 quest + grinding.

After level 3, transforming from dragon.

Transformed to human.

So far that I played this game. It's kind of challenging in the beginning. Starting off as a beginner will have a hard time to kill higher level mobs given through quests. But, once at level 5, players are able to select a job through respective NPC.

It took me almost 3 hours to reach level 10. This is the one most hardest leveling MMO I ever played.

My rating for this game:
1. Graphic: [4 stars]
---I never seen a game so smooth and no glitches.
2. Performance: [5 stars]
---Normally global server will have certain lags but this game is awesome.
3. Environment: [4 stars]
---Looks kind'a kiddo in away but the BGM suits well.
4. Gameplay: [3 stars]
---Just that if they include the W,A,S,D key for the movement...
5. Quest: [2 stars]
---The description given in the quest is not clear and mobs location should be included. Had a hard time doing the quest at 1st...

My first impression on this game, it has a cute like feature with improved graphic effect compared to Fiesta. BTW, if you are planning to try this game, my tip for you is always check your full map for any quest available.

That's all for the preview.

Crazy Weekend

People tend to say that their dream comes true but I'll say that "My plan comes true". Like said from the previous post during my exam week, I was planning to buy these stuffs. Oh, BTW, 3 out of 4 exam papers were OK except for the last paper, Electrical Principles was too hard but I tried my best!

On Saturday morning 11:00 am, my classmate and I went to Lowyat and had our Japanese lunch there. After that, we went and scout for the casing which I planed to buy. The first shop we went to only sells the full tower HAF model. I thought of getting that. My friend then advised me to scout on other shops and so I agreed. Fortunately, even though it wasn't 1010 that I wanted, as long as its the COSMOS family, I'm happy with the design. It costs me RM845 with more than second thoughts...

Box is COSMOS 1000 though cas they don't have the box for 1100. Difference is, 1100 has transparent cover and 1000 don't have.

Yeah.. power supply which was the main item to buy.

At home, unwrapping the new casing

Replacing my old casing..

TBH, I'm not a clubbing guy. Sometimes when you get draged by friends you tend to be peer pressured and endded up clubbing with them. So, on that Saturday night, I went out with my friends to M.O.S. Well, it was fun that night, releasing all the stress we had for the exam.
M.O.S

Was testing how powerful my K630i camera in dark areas. Not bad eh?!

Chivas and Omega. Photo taken by my friend who followed me to Lowyat.

There he is.... on the left. Me... on the right.
(Who took this photo? "You SUCK la you!"(Fong 2009)) :D

Eventually, it was a great night. After the party, me and other 2 friends stayed up at my place chatting on the happenings we encountered in the club. We ended up sleeping at 6 am though...

On the next morning, we woke up around 10.00 am and I was the last. Both my friends stayed back doing their overdue assignment which Mr. Fong, our Design and Drawing lecturer gave them permission till Monday, tomorrow. BTW, you noticed the sur name Fong right? Me, I spend my day continue to fix up my desktop which I left unfinished last night.

Motherboard, Hard disk, DVD-Rom transplant

WaLLa! Everything works fine until I found out the cover for the casing on the right side in this photo can't be close properly. Neway, I'll fix that later.

I realised that I don't need VGA fan nemore since my graphic card has its own fan. Now left AquaGate.

Conclusion, I spent RM1500 +/- for the weekend... OUCH!

Desktop Upgrade components

So far, it's been 3 weeks I'm using my laptop for the while since the heat at my location here blew up my desktop power supply. Though I'm middle of my exam, I can't have my concentration set for the exam. So, I made a plan to go to Lowyat (store that sells a lot of gadgets in KL) this coming Saturday to scout for few upgrades for my desktop to increase its cooling system.

Since it's about cooling system, best brand to get is Cooler Master...

Browsing through their web site, their design for the desktop casings are pretty cool. There are some which I had saw few eye-catching casings which were sold at Lowyat. One of my selected design will be the COSMOS 1010

Cosmos 1010

I plan to buy this casing mainly because it has 4 2.0USB port.

There might be other few cooling system which I might consider to buy as long as they are under my budget, and yeah ... most important item is the power supply. I've totally forgotten bout it as I'm so indulge into writing this post.
eXtreme Power Plus 650W

Other extra gadgets that come into my considerations are:
Aquagate Max

Cool Viva Pro

If the casing alone can do the cooling job, then Aquagate and Cool Viva won't be needed. This will be my desktop upgrade plan starting from June till 2010 since budget would be a problem to buy all at once.
