Hong Kong Scam: Strikes again!

Ladies and gentlemen, now I'm about to fore told my first hand experience on facing this tremendous Hong Kong scam. Here's how it started.

Week 1:
I was having semester break at the time being. Suddenly, a phone call rang on my hand phone. There's this lady calling from a company saying that this company is a group that deals with holiday resorts, hotels, and other leisure activities. She said her purpose for calling me is to conduct a survey. At the moment I did not really pay attention to what she said. All was in Chinese and I just go along with the conversation. She also asked me to note down this membership number A63328.

Week 2:
During this week, my new semester starts. I receive another private phone call from this group. I supposedly felt that it is the same lady again from the last week phone call. This time, she told me that on 15 September 09, Astro will have a program which their company will conduct a lucky draw session. She said that the program will start at 6pm and ask me to watch. Well since me and my family do not have Astro, I did not care much bout it. She also asked me what is my membership number and I replied her I've forgotten then she told me my membership number and advised me not to lose it again.

Week 3:
It was Hari Raya during this week and again I'm having one week of semester break. Another call came from this lady again. With her own excitement, she was announcing that I had won cash prize worth HK$380,000.00 which is converted to RM176,000.00. She said that since I did not claim the prize on that day, the company had my cash prize on hold. In order to get the cash prize, I need to give her my account number which I gave to her. She also told me that her manager will give me a call to confirm my details. She also gave out her office number which is 00852 3065 7232.

The next day, the manager did called me. He congratulate me and asking me to confirm my details and so on. He also ask me to call up Hang Seng Bank (fake) with the number 00852 3065 7232. Details given tome is that my account number is 3069 6909 7398. Password is 158158. So, I called up this "Bank" and the person who received me call had confirm with me my account balance is HK$380,000.00.

Week 4:
This week, yesterday, (Tuesday, 29 Sept 09) I called this group up since I'm curious why I still did not received the cash prize yet. This was what I was told. In order to received the money, I have to deposit an amount of RM4,400 for the bank insurance in order to proceed for the cash prize transaction and this deposit have to be cash into Public Bank account holder Kee Yong Guan (4562 5163 28). I was also told that once the transaction is successful, the deposit will be given back to me. I eventually believed him until I called my uncle whether is it reliable for this case to happen. My uncle said, as long as if I need to transfer money to them, they are related to financial fraud.

I did my research on this company named Yihao International Leisure Group provided with URL:www.yihaogroups.com What i did was using WhoIs to domain scan the URL to obtain it's IP address 202.65.207.245. As you know static IP address will not tell lies and traced down their location to Lok Shan Building, Ting On st., Ngau Tau Kok, HK. Compared to the address given on their website, it says they are located at International Finance Centre, HK. Therefore it is obviously a financial fraud.

My Revenge:
Today, I made my judgment day upon Yihao International Leisure Group. After my class, I called up Public Bank to inform them this financial fraud case and have this account holder Kee Yong Guan to be investigated. Next, I called back to this manager telling him that instead through Public Bank banking, for my convenient, I made a "bankdraft" from Maybank. Then, he asked me to fax the "bankdraft" to him. Well, I asked him is there any other way to send the "bankdraft". He replied saying that through e-mail will be possible and giving me such a lame e-mail, yihaogroups@HOTMAIL.com. I was like "WAD THE FUG?!!! HOTMAIL?"

While having my big laughter for such group using HOTMAIL for god sake! So, here came an idea instantaneously. My subconscious asked me to create my own "bankdraft" which looks like this.
==========================================

=========================================
Of course, I'm curious what is happening, so I called the lady's office number.

So I said, since I'll be having the cash prize after the process is successful, I'd like to pay Hong Kong a visit to meet them up.

Then she asked, did I really complete the process correctly? What stuff did I sent to their HOTMAIL? If I'm not going to take the cash prize then say so. Why treat them like a financial scammers. If that's so, then it's better that we STOP CONTACTING EACH OTHER!!!

With evil laughter, I answered back saying, that's the whole idea!

I'm glad that she was very pissed off... she banged off the phone...

U.O.Sunderland: Another Year's Begining

Now, now, I'll be entering 2nd year with a twinning program of Mechanical Engineering under University of Sunderland. The subjects to be studied will be much tougher as said. But, for me, how tough it will be, I'll try my best to take it all in to my head... Ouch!

I never had a real planning when I 1st join in for the 1st year degree program. So, this is what I plan for my 2nd year.

1. Ban myself from playing PC / MMO games
2. Visit campus library more often
3. Read more articles about the world (maybe Times mag.)
4. Give in x2 effort in studies and make early preparation
5. Improve in writing by writing more blog post

Oh well, i've been trying out time scheduling since I was studying at Curtin, Sarawak campus but wasn't really effective for me since I rarely follow my time schedule. Oh gosh.. any recommendations?

Life just sucks if I just stay the same. : /

My Blog: Amateur Design

As the title said, my blog have to be redesigned. After viewing G-inXane for many times, new ideas comes in but the thing is, how do you code it? I had a history of learning HTML codes since 2004/2005. I learned it myself and with MS FrontPage, I did quite a few own webpages and uploaded it to Geocities. I bet those pages are long gone since Geocities does delete inactive account and now Geocities free user account is close.

HTML isn't sufficient to create a good looking side. HTML is like learning basic modern maths, DHTML is like high school modern maths and come CSS is most suitable to be described as additional maths. I was playing around with CSS codes awhile ago until i managed the third column for G-inXane. After helping my dear old school friend to create her personal web page for her assignment purpose, using CSS coding for the page layout gave me more confident in learning more about CSS coding.

Above page was built using Kompozer (Freeware)

Of course my friend's web page wasn't build by my own coding since CSS codes are readily coded and displayed as templates for beginners to use. As long as you are able to understand the codes, it'll be easy for you to spot errors when you are editing them.

But before proceeding into the next stage. I have to know what topic is interesting for readers and being inspired of it. Basically, of course blogs are mainly to write about your life style, news, scientific topics etc. etc. but it'll be worthless if you write something which Gizmodo had already written right? Well, that'll be decided by the future me.

Without change, there will be no improvement.

My Semester Break: Helping Hands

For some reasons, workers especially the Chinese in Kuala Terengganu do have weird attitudes. First, they promise to come the next day to do the work being instructed. However, we waited for the worker for days to come. My dad was really pissed off with them. So, with the available tools the worker brought, my dad started to hack the wall just in one day. As for me, I helped out with clearing bricks and stones being hacked out and clean up the area after the work is done.

Dad, as always strong in doing these heavy stuffs. Wad'ya expect from someone who worked at offshore platform for many years...

3 bricks down, a concrete beam was found.

After 7 hours of drilling and hacking.

Same time as above. 3pm

Photo taken after cleaning the area. It's evening 7pm

3 days after (today), the worker finally came. He was shocked temporarily cas dad stole his bowl of rice. Well, dad told him to patch up the walls.

Another week, I'll be back to Damansara on September 11. Hope my bus back to KL won't be hijacked by terrorist to be ramped into KLCC twin tower. :D

New MMO: Karos Online

MMORPG had become social game play within today's society. Imagine the old fashion Ragnarok Online since 2001, with the development of 3D technologies, Blizzard came up with World of Warcraft which hit the global market in 2007. Impressively, there are much more other online games with better graphics. For a Pay to Play online game such as Aion online which was release recently in May, 2009, it potrays a more realistic effect of the environment which only players with high graphic card will able to experience it. Now, NHN had came up with the new release of Karos online which provide Free to Play service together with better graphic effect compared to other 3D MMORPG.

On 21st August, NHN Europe realease their Close Beta Test server for Karos Online. With this opportunity, I had myself register as one of their Close Beta Tester. With the provided game client, the size of it is only 700MB and will additionally patch another 100MB + of it's game files.
The game starts with a login page as similar to other MMORPGs. After successfully login to the game server, the game leads you to Character Creation screen. There are three classes for players to choose at the moment which are Blader, Bowmistress and Rogue. As seen in the screen, there are other classes which are not able to be selected yet. This shows Karos Online have their future development of this game.

After creating your character, you are able to access the game server. There'll be Character Selection for players to select their playable characters before entering the game. As shown from the screen, players are only able to create maximum of four chracters.

I was amazed by the environment graphic effect after I entered into the game world. With high graphic settings, players are able to view the details of the game. But, even with low graphic setting, players are still able to feel the breezy effect in the game world.

By default, the game graphic settings are set to high. Players with low graphic card will be able to change the setting to medium or low which ever fits the players' desire. But for some technical problem caused by my wireless router, I was not able to play this game at ease since it kept disconnecting. So far, I'm only able to reveal how the game environment is. Quest and other function will be revealed after I'm back to my work port at Damansara.

After exiting the game for the first time, a small browser will pop up which contains survey question of the game. Seems that the developer wants to hear opinions from players to improve the gameplay environment that suits the majority.

The Musang Attack?!

According to the report from resident House 51, there was a Musang outbreak that had terrorized the surface of the ceiling in the nearby neighborhood. Every night, neighbors will hear loud running noise on top of their ceiling and was terrified of it while wondering what was lurking within the darkness of the roof. The photo above shows the terrifying damage caused by the furious Musang. However, the Musang is still on the run and a group of assault team was dispatched to capture it.

3rd Assignment: Accomplished

Somehow, when you look through your 1st work thoroughly, you found out that there's something wrong with it. There on, you start another work and felt more satisfied compared to the 1st one. Here, I present to you my submitted assignment for my AutoCAD 3D class during this summer course.

Assignment Accomplish: One Step Closer

Finally, having myself waking up early morning had me finishing up my AutoCad assignments. Well, after the screenshots, I found my work piece had been missing something. The fillet command which I apply on my design wasn't shown. In the end, I have to do it twice cas the campus computer too did not detect the fillet command for my design.

After submitting my assignment, I was troubled up with some issues with my campus. Well, I might post up an article about why campus such like SEGi is a FAILURE and reasons why must students avoid signing up their course at SEGi University College. Just a general image to potray about how SEGi is.

SEGi is just bad in its management and students will always have trouble with the bursary and accomodation department.

SEGi is also known to be money sucking education center. They just don't care how well you do inyour education. They just care for what's in your pocket or wallet.

SEGi's infrastructures are also an eye sore as today, they had problem with broken pipe at the 1st floor left wig toilet. It smells bad as well. Besides that, the on-campus hostel have pipe leakage problem. Even the library do have water leakage during rainy days.

With this three major point of view of SEGi, whatwould you think of this campus? What kind of impression would you give upon this kind of educational center? Well, you won't know till you experience being a student here.

Here, I would some day write an article of the true image of SEGi. I want to let the public know how private campus with bad management looks like.

GSC: G.I Joe

And so it begins another day of my boring life. So far of this few weeks was addicted to EVONY accidentally after recommending this web browser game to my friend who was whinning about looking for Total War like online game.

As for I need changes for me to efficiently rule my empire, I had Mr. Obama as my mayor at AthlumII

A view of Athlum city captured from my copter

From my satellite camera, a view of my conquered territories as displayed.

There's no need for me to explain another time that it's not their seductive ads that made me addicted. If you seek for bo0bies, this en't yer game. I seek for domination. What bout you?!

Here, I return to my main topic which cloncludes for today's outing to Midvalley watching G.I. Joe. Well, this movie explains how the villain came to existence in Joe's world. Excluding the viual effect which was over populated in the movie, the movie is one kind of a worth-it-to-watch (WITW) movie. BTW, the suit shown in this movie, it was imported from Crysis technology. I'm sure of it! :D

Kuala Lumpur: Anti ISA Riot Outbreak

Riot police in Kuala Lumpur have fired tear gas into a crowd of 5,000, who were protesting Malaysian security law.

The protesters want to over turn the country’s decades-old laws, which allow the government to imprison people without a trial.

Despite police warnings of a crackdown if they demonstrated, a crowd of mostly ethnic Malays marched from the national mosque to the king’s palace today chanting “God is Greatest” and “Down with the government”.

Water canons and tear gas were fired at the protesters, led by opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, and about 180 people were arrested.

They were hoping to submit a petition to the king, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, calling for him denounce the Internal Security Act (ISA).

The ISA permits detention without trial on national security grounds, but many in the country fear it is being used by the government to silence political dissent.

Last year the ISA used was against a pro-opposition blogger, a journalist, and members of Hindraf, an outlawed Hindu rights group.

A joint statement released on Friday by the Malaysian rights group Suaram, the World Organisation Against Torture and the International Federation for Human Rights said: “The secrecy and unscrupulous practice that surrounds the use of the law exhibits the true colour of the ISA.”

Prime Minister Najib Razak said he had already agreed to review the controversial law and released thirteen Malays being detained under ISA powers on taking office in April.

However today’s protests will place further pressure on Razak, whose government is facing questions over the mysterious death of an opposition politician’s aide last month.

Teoh Beng Hock plunged from the 14th floor of the anti-corruption commission offices after going in for questioning.

Experiment 1: Connection Speed Lost Theory

Here's my connection information stating that myspeed is 2 Mbps

I used SpeedTest.net to check my connection speed and it reached 1.64Mbps. Fair enough.

However, with my BitComet on with my laptop, my speed reduced to 0.27Mbps. Since my BitComet download is at average of 0.035Mbps or 35Kbps, where is the remaining speed went to?

Hypothesis: Does this mean that there's a theory of speed lost which is more or less similar to Thermodynamics's, heat lost theory?

Ideal Connection:
============================
Original Speed = 2.04Mb/s
Obtained Speed = 1.64Mb/s
Speed Loss / mi = 0.01Mb/s
============================

Compound Connection:
============================
Download Speed = 0.04Mb/s
Actual Balance Speed = 1.60Mb/s
Measured Bal. Speed = 0.27Mb/s
Speed Loss /mi = 0.03Mb/s
============================

Conclusion:
After conducting the above experiment, it shows that the speed lost occurs for about 0.01Mb/s for each mile with pure connection. When BitComet download is initiated, the result shows an increase of speed lost by 3x.

Thermodynamics states that, the increase of work will also increase the lost of energy and heat. Therefore, it is proven that, a download process is known to be work done and speed is known to be the energy and heat. In addition, due to the speed lost within 50 miles from the Streamyx server to this computer, a total of 1.33Mb/s of speed loss occured.

However, there are several ways to improve the connection speed. Users can stay near to Streamyx server in order to shorten the mileage of internet cable to reduce the total speed loss. Another way is to increase the amount of streamyx servers across housing areas. It would be the best if ideal materials which won't cause speed loss would be used for internet cable since it will provide 100% efficient internet connection speed.

PTR / PTC sites: Do They Pay?

I know I had just recently sent in a post few minutes ago, but I felt this post will be important.

As you could see on my blog, there's a live traffic feed which I keep track where my visitors come from and here's the reason for this post.

A Google search keywords was found and written as below.
"have you ever receive money from cashmailz promails or mailsmoney"

This shows that there are people out there like me who wants to know whether companies like above will or will not pay their members when the members reached cashout. This question had me done a research and the result led me to this blog,

http://ptc-investgations.blogspot.com/

This web can be considered reliable since it list all the legit, trustworthy, and scam sites.
BTW, I won't give the whole list since there are bunch of them and making these lists are their job and for me to redirect your answers to that blog.

If you see this blog having those ads from scam site, just ignore it. If you don't mind to join just the mater to click, I won't mind. But, don't send them cash for paid referral cas you won't know they'll pay you or not.

For me, I'm just having fun seeing digits. I don't mind if they don pay and I appreciate if they do pay. Just don't pay them.

That's all for this post. Time for lunch!

A Very Bad Day: Bad Bad Day

Waking up as late at 12:00pm, I consider it as bad day for me. Why wake up so late? Well, was playing Last Remnant till 3:00am last night. For the moment, spending time for PC Games is just the moment. That's because, my desire to work part time had faded away few weeks ago. No matter how hard my friend pushed me to work ... well yeah ... my current lazy me is like, yeah right... But, there's a reason why my desire working part time has faded.

Few weeks ago, in fact, I have classes for English 1 on weekdays (Monday and Thursday). Since that, I could use one of the Curtin's unit outline to exempt it, it took me a lot of trouble but it's worth the trouble. Some times, you can't just rely on campus staffs. They are just good for nothing. So, using my copy of the unit outline, I meet up with the person in charge of the language center. Within 3 days, I got my answer. English 1 is exampted.

But, before that, I was going through one of the campus staff for exemption, didn't think will result that he did not take his responsibility to hand in to the langguage center. Because of this problem, it took away my concentration on finding part time job. So, here goes me laying back at home happily taking my sweet time playigng games :D

Anyway, TBH, I'm not just playing games, currently as you can see with all those advertisement wrapping around my blog, I had done few research on certain fishy companies that give away huge amount of money tend to be a scam campaign. There are few that can be trusted. BTW, the scam company ads will be taken down later on. Oh well, this result made me feel lazy to work online advertising too cas they pay is like $1 to $3 per month... LoL

Also, since this blog is still open beta, I'll use my time to do more research on improving this blog. Might take few more months to see another change. CSS coding really ROX! and damn you I.E. giving all the trouble to make additional codes just to be supported by you! Oh well, I guess most internet users uses Firefox neway.

Another Day Out: Such a Rainy Day

I woke up this morning noticing the sky had gone dark at around 10am. I had an appointment with my old school friend for the whole day. Since it's going to rain, I called him for confirmation for the appointment. So, we went on with our original plan.

We met up at KLCC which is located in between where we stay. Our 1st plan of having lunch was in KLCC itself but we have no idea which food stall to choose. I made a suggestion, why not we had lunch over at Pavillion. From KLCC, we walk a short distance and reached Pavillion, which is located right infront of Hotel Novotel. To be honest, it'l be a nice place to have a walk during weekends :)

My friend had Hong Kong Roast dish which I recomended to him. Hong Kong Roast tastes delighful and if any of you visit KL, you might stop by Pavillion and ave a taste of the roasted duck rice as mentioned. I had a a plate of Salted Chicken Rice Chop from Little Taiwan stall and to be honest, it doesn't really taste something special. So, I guess Little Taiwan is out from my list then.

After having lunch we walk towards Sungai Wang as my friend wanted tobuy a wallet. On the way, we went to bank and he drew out some amount of money which caught my eye of something new! It's the newly printed RM50 note. Wow.. I didn't notice that the government had made a decision on this...

Gosh... I'm so outdated. However, my friend did not manage to find the stall that sells wallet at Sungei Wang and we ended up our journey to Times Square (Uh.. not New York'sTime Square..). I recalled when I was in secondary school having a trip to KL and visited Time Square, I felt Time Square was quite a grand place. However, I reallised that Time Square doesn't look that grand anymore. Time Square is aging...

After buying his wallet, we had our last stop at Lowyat. We took quite a long time walking in Lowyat as we kept talking about computers, graphic cards and 2.1 set speakers. There're no more stuffs for me to buy at the moment. So, it was the first time ever I wet out justtospend for food. Well, I'm afterall low in cash for the while. That's why you're seeing advertisement wrapping his blog and duh... of course I'm earning few dollars from the company.

In any case that you are interested in earning a few more extra cash, here are few links that will make you interested.

Whole Day Work: New skin for G-inXane

Finally, a new look of G-inXane had appeared. Well, it wasn't really easy after all going through all the changes to be made. This appearance change had started since last night. Especially the header image had took me longer time to design till was satisfied with it.

Other problems faced was today's coding which failed to work well with I.E. browser. At least they are already fixed. So, at the moment, this will be the latest upgraded G-inXane v1.23 for the while. Still under Beta Testing which means there are much more to test out with blogspot coding cmpatibility and such more.

Viola! behold G-inXane v1.23

What else more to add will be add in near future. One for the big success for this upgrade will be the mouse over function that works with both Mozila and I.E.

That's all for now.

SEGi REVOLUTION: The Rise of Red Armies

Kota Damansara (Routers) - Recently news regarding communism in Malaysia at certain region were widely spread after the propose of Anwar Ibrahim, leader of the opposition party PKR, having Chin Peng, leader of Malayan Communist Party during the 1930's, to return to homeland. [!]

An article about "Communism in Sarawak" written by Ham was recently publish. Announcing on how the newly launch One Government logo look-alike with the communist Red Star. Is this another conspiracy part of the government trying to change democracy to communism as they need more power and money to change Malaysia to a better place to live... or maybe worst...

Today, through an unknown source, we've suspected that SEGi, the money sucking institution had secretly recruiting Red Armies within the campus. The above photo was secretly taken by an anonymous reporter who tries to reveal the scene behind SEGi. Anonymous reporter also reported that *highly classified information* and *highly classified information* which resulted SEGi employing low qualification lecturers instead of higher qualified once.

Its an issue now for the government to resolve the current situation. Will it be or will it not be a better place if communism strike Malaysia? See how China is progressing but also see how Russia which was largest communist country that broke up into pieces. Our future of the country is on our own hands.

Windows RC: Legitimate RTM Leak

I was searching through the net about how stable Windows 7 build 7229 is. Instead of that, came in its later build which is 7264 also known as the legitimate RTM version. 'm not sure how long it was leak but one thing I know is, everybody is going for this download and so am I.

Sorry for not providing the download code here. It's illegal... Find your own. I'm sure you will able to.

4 hours to be exact.

Now, for the activation key...

UPDATE:
However, some source states that build 7264 is not really RTN version and Microsoft is compiling another latest build which will be build 7265 RTM. Anyway, build 7264 is currently the latest one.

Boredness Escape: Trip to One U

Life, its a challenge for everyone. It can be in any form. For me, my challenge of life, is to go through 'boredness' of life. Yesterday was the day which I had suffered from the boring effect. You just stare infront of your desktop with your mind blank and as time passes, you fall asleep... unknowingly, you slept on the chair without falling to the floor.

On that night itself, in coincidence that my friend, Barry, asked me what was I doing, on Facebook. "Staring at the monitor" as I replied. So, we began planning for the journey which awaits us today...

We went to One U today, a hypermart build in a large scale, combination of its old and new wing, located somewhere untold which can be found in Damansara Utama. Here, we had our lunch at a Japanese restaurant, Ajisen. So, I ordered Chicken Ka-tsu! Fried Rice. On the wait, Barry and I had conversation of our academic issues and so on. We also ended up our lunch with a plate of sushi which had brocolli and crab stick rolled in between japanese rice. It taste marvellous with the combination of wasabe and japanese soy sauce.

After we left the restaurant, we head to GSC and purchased tickets for Ice Age 3. Since we had an hour to wait, we stroll around One U and at the mean time searching for Maxis outlet as my friend wanting to buy a 012 number. Then, we continued our journey towards GCS!

This wass the first time ever I had entered theater hall so early, though the cinema started screening advertisement minutes later. Normally, we would not be punctual at all to enter theater halls since advertisement is nothing but to attract you to buy their products, especially LUX.

I like ice age 3. Esspecially the squirrel's romace :D

After all, I had a great day outing with my fellow friend and glad that today is not the day where I start staring on desktop screen again. For now, I have to start doing my assignment assigned by English class lecturer which will due tomorrow. Its not big deal afterall for this assignment.

Geez... short sem sux! No 'interesting' new students too... sigh!...
